OHHH, okay. I get it. I meant like…same-gender sleepovers, though. I know a few people (who I only met out at BYU) who weren’t allowed to have sleepovers with other people of the same gender growing up.

And I guess it is important to recognize these are generally more guidelines than hard-and-fast rules? That sounds waffley and justifying, but at the same time…it’s true. Go according to the Spirit; that’s always been my thing, and it hasn’t steered me wrong yet. (At the same time, there are some things that ARE hard-and-fast rules, like don’t have sex before you get married.)
